Report Cover: Proceedings of the International Workshop on the Performance of Offshore Concrete Structures in the Arctic Environment.A workshop was held March 12, 1983, at the U.S. National Bureau of Standards (now called the National Institutes of Standards and Technology). The objective was to bring together an international group of experts for the purpose of information exchange on the subject of the performance of Arctic offshore concrete structures.

The workshop participants were divided into four working groups to discuss the following subjects related to Arctic offshore concrete structures:

bullet design,
bullet materials,
bullet construction, and,
bullet inspection and repair.

Each working group addressed the following topics within their subject: past experiences, current projects, and recommended research areas. The chairman of each group prepared reports summarizing their group's deliberations. These reports are incorporated into this workshop summary.
