OTRC, in cooperation with Texas A&M, presented MMS drilling engineers and others (i.e., District Supervisors, workover engineers, inspectors) 2 seminars that outlines the basics of drilling extended reach and/or multilateral wells. The seminars did cover the new advances in these fields as closer examination of well control procedures and potential problems and risks. Two workshops were presented; 1st workshop was in Camarillo, California on November 21, 2002, and the 2nd workshop was presented in New Orleans, Louisiana on December 5, 2002, at each MMS office. |
