| Description | This is a Joint Industry Project (JIP). The purpose is to develop welding electrodes to make wet welds that will, to the greatest extent possible, meet the requirements for Class A dry welds. This will be done be compensating for pressure-induced changes in weld metal. A realistic goal may be Class A welds to 100 feet, Class B+ (reduced porosity and increased ductility) from 100 feet to 200 feet, and consistent Class B welds to 300 feet. |
| Progress | Project work is complete. |
