Location on 07/11/2005, 13:00 local time, Morgan City Municipal Dock

We found good cover from Dennis in Morgan City. The weather here was sunny, humid and hot throughout the weekend. Unfortunately, Dennis still impacted us in an unexpected way. We had planned to pick up Sierra today at 14:30 from Lafayette airport and begin our way down the Achafalaya River this afternoon. However, Sierra's flight to  Lafayette was cancelled. She is now on a stand-by list for an evening flight, and we are keeping our fingers crossed that she will be able to get on that flight. If so, we will be leaving the Dock early tomorrow morning, sailing towards the area the Gyre cruise was not able to cover. We will send out another update once we know for sure when we can start our next leg.
