MMS SCREEN SAVER NOW AVAILABLE
The Department of the Interiors Minerals Management Service (MMS) is making available a computer screen saver with images and text to mark the Departments 150th Anniversary and the role and contributions of the MMS. The screen saver can be downloaded by accessing the MMS web site at http://www.mms.gov/whatsnew.htm.
The computer screen saver, a revolving combination of ten slides incorporating photos and text, depicts some of the people, places, history, and wildlife that are a part of the MMS and its mission. The images on the screen saver will be periodically replaced with newer photos and illustrations that reflect the work of the MMS, its employees and the people they serve.
The MMS is the Federal agency that manages the Nation's natural gas, oil and other mineral resources on the Outer Continental Shelf, and collects, accounts for, and last year disbursed about $6 billion in revenues from Federal offshore mineral leases and from onshore mineral leases on Federal and Indian lands.
