The booklet reports on the 1992 activities of the MMS Royalty Management Program, including collection of nearly $3.7 billion in bonuses, rents and royalties from Indian and federal offshore and onshore minerals leases. The annual report also offers tables and statistics relating to the generation, distribution and history of revenues obtained under this program. The Minerals Management Service distributed more than $400 million to 35 states in 1992. The money was the states' share of mineral revenues from federal lands located within their borders and from special federal offshore oil and gas tracts adjacent to their shores. Copies of the 1992 report are now available, free of charge, by writing or calling: Public Affairs Office Royalty Management Program Minerals Management Service P.O.
