• The MMS has already done a preliminary review of this proposal and identified most of the major environmental issues. These include:

• Air and water discharges,
• Oil spills and cleanup,
• Cumulative effects of development on the culture and environment of the North Slope,
• Effects on the subsistence lifestyle of Native Alaskans and,
• Inclusion of traditional knowledge in decision documents.
