Oversees environmental reviews and analyses, and ensures
compliance with environmental conditions of project approvals, in
accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act, the OCS Lands
Act, and other Federal environmental laws.
Section Chief, Environmental Analysis Section:

- Plans and manages the Regional Environmental Studies Program.
- Reviews and approves OCS lease ownership and
bonding applications and requests.
- Coordinates environmental program activities with stakeholders.
- Analyzes the environmental effects of OCS oil and gas activities;
prepares associated environmental documents
- Monitors environmental conditions of permit/plan approval
- Coordinates Endangered and Threatened Species Consultations,
State Historic Preservation Office Consultations, and Essential Fish
Habitat Consultations for OCS oil and gas projects
- Works with stakeholders to identify and document environmental
issues, information needs, and comments for OCS oil and gas projects
- Reviews applicable environmental documents and reports produced
by Federal, State, and local agencies
