Designation Of Pipeline Operator

(This form does not constitute an information collection as defined by 44 U.S.C. 3502
and therefore does not require approval by the Office of Management and Budget)

The undersigned is the owner of the Pacific OCS Region Pipeline and hereby designates:

as his operator and local agent, with full authority to act in his behalf, pursuant to 30 CFR 250.108, in complying with the terms of the Right-of-Way or Lease Term Pipeline and regulations applicable thereto and on whom the Regional Supervisor, Office of Development, Operations and Safety or his representative may serve written or oral instructions in securing compliance with the Operating Regulations with respect to the following Right-of-Way or Lease Term Pipeline:

It is understood that this designation of operator does not relieve the pipeline owner of responsibility for compliance with the terms of the Right-of-Way or Lease Term Pipeline, laws and regulations applicable to the area. It is also understood that this designation of operator does not constitute an assignment of interest in the Right-of-Way or Lease Term Pipeline.

In case of a relinquishment, abandonment or in the event of a controversy between the pipeline owner and the designated operator, both the pipeline owner and the operator will be required to protect the interests of the Minerals Management Service.
