Regional Mapping Data  -- Official Protraction Diagrams

National Maps and Special Purpose Graphics:

• Maps and other information for the current 5 Year Plan 2007-2012 -- Shows Areas available for leasing in the 5 Year Plan. Many additional maps are included in the Environmental Impact Statement, Volume 2.
   
• Status of Federal Leasing Programs (3146 KB; Oct 15, 2007) -- Shows National Marine Sanctuaries, areas available for leasing under the 2007-2012 Five Year Plan, existing leases, and areas withdrawn from leasing through June 30, 2012.
• Marine Boundaries -- A summary graphic to explain offshore boundaries.
   
• CSB Map (572 KB) -- Shows U.S. Continental Shelf Boundary (CSB) areas, including the Pacific territories. The CSB marks the limit of U.S. jurisdiction for offshore mineral development.
   
• CSB Bathy Map (1,823 KB) -- Shows U.S. CSB areas, on a color coded topo/bathy background.
   
• Atlantic Multiple Use Map (3,129 KB) -- Shows multiple uses within the North and Mid Atlantic offshore areas.
• Federal Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) Administrative Boundaries -- Maps, shapefiles and coordinates for the newly developed OCS Administrative Boundaries.

	FGDC Marine Boundary Working Group Site includes descriptions for the various offshore marine boundaries and links to the GIS data.
	Digital Shoreline of the United States derived from NOAA T-sheets (1:5000 to 1:40,000 scale).
	NOAA Coastal Services Center spatial data including LIDAR, AVHRR, Benthic data, etc.
	National Hydrography Data set Rivers, Streams, Coasts, etc. A joint project by USGS and EPA.
	NGDC Coastline Extractor Choose from four digital coastlines 1:70,000 to 1:5,000,000 scale.
	National Marine Sanctuaries Information on National Marine Sanctuaries in the U.S.
	FGDC Geospatial Data Clearinghouse a collection of over 250 spatial data servers. These data collections can be searched through a single interface based on their descriptions, or "metadata."
	GEO-DATA Explorer access, view, and download information from geo-spatial databases containing a broad spectrum of data produced by the USGS and other government agencies.
	National Atlas contains a wide variety of nationwide coverages at 1:1,000,000 scale.
	Earth Explorer Query and order satellite images, aerial photographs, and cartographic products through the U.S. Geological Survey.
	Maritime Claims Reference Manual a compendium of world wide maritime claims.
	International Boundaries Research Unit (IBRU) at the University of Durham has links to boundary related web sites around the world.

	Treaties and Legislation - includes coordinate listings for international boundaries: ▪    Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act – as amended December 2000. ▪    Territorial Submerged Lands Act – conveys submerged lands to the Territories including the Virgin Islands, Guam and American Samoa. ▪    United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea – Full texts of the Convention, current status, and historical background. ▪    Additional Treaties and Legislation – including coordinate listings for international boundaries.
