Associate Director’s Presentation
The Associate Director for Offshore Minerals Management serves as MMS’s Executive
Director to the Scientific Committee and apprises the Committee on key offshore oil and
gas and hard mineral activities and environmental topics of pertinence to the
Committee’s advisory role. This exchange not only keeps the Committee apprised of MMS
direction but also offers an opportunity for the Committee to provide direct advice and
guidance on matters as they relate to the Environmental Studies Program.
