Summary
Director’s Presentation
The Scientific Committee advises the Director of the MMS on studies and the
Environmental Studies Program. In this regard the Director tries to meet with the
Committee when possible and has an open dialogue with the members on MMS's mission related
activities and priorities as they relate to the studies program.
Ms. Carolita Kallaur, Associate Director for Offshore Minerals Management, represented
Dr. Tom Kitsos, the Acting Director of the Minerals Management Service (MMS).
