CAA - DOI Air Regulations
Air emissions on the OCS associated with oil and gas exploration, development, and
production activities were not covered under the earlier versions of the Clean Air Act,
but were regulated separately under the Department of the Interior air quality
regulations, which were promulgated in 1980. The DOI
air quality regulations are presented in 30 CFR 250.302, 303, and 304.
