Environmental Oversight for Proposals for Offshore Sand and Gravel Mining

The BEA conducts environmental analyses for proposals to mine sand for planned beach nourishment projects and proposals to mine sand and gravel to use in construction projects. We also review contract proposals to assess the effects of sand and gravel mining.
