Dokianos
Ms. Dokianos was extremely helpful in supplying data for the Deepwater Program, "The Technology and Economics of Deepwater Production Projects," MMS contract 1435-01-99-CT-31019. This project will generally describe, from start to finish a deepwater development project and show how the fabrication, installation, and operation have had a socioeconomic impact around the U.S., and to a lesser extent, the world. Shell, and namely Ms. Dokianos, provided us with extremely valuable data on the evolution of this deepwater project. This information allows us to determine and trace where parts come from in building an offshore platform, thus determining the location and magnitude of socioeconomic effects. Not only did she supply information on the contractors involved in the fabrication of the URSA tension leg platform, but she also supplied extremely valuable data on the operational aspects of the project. Ms. Dokianos provided a clear understanding of the project evolution and management. Some of these data are available on the Shell web site, but she solicited additional information from other personnel within Shell who are involved in the operation of the facility. URSA has a relatively large crew, so the supplied information was particularly valuable as it covered a wide range of personnel and skill sets. For these reasons, Ms. Dokianos is most deserving of the MMS Corporate Leadership Award. Privacy | Disclaimers | Accessibility | Topic Index | FOIA Last Updated: 07/15/2008, 12:14 PM
