Hank Danos has a proven record of leadership in the oil field contractor business for the past thirty years. The exemplary effort demonstrated toward regulatory compliance should be commended. With the recent onset of new and small independent operators venturing into oil and gas production in the Gulf of Mexico, his ability to supply knowledgeable, regulatory-conscious and well-trained employees to his twenty-five active clients is extremely valuable.

He has served on the Board of Directors for the Louisiana Association of Oilfield Contractors, the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry and is now serving on the National Ocean Industries Association board. His company became involved in the Total Quality Management movement by sending key managers and staff to Deming seminars and principle training. His company provides regulatory training for its employees and has set up a program to supply employees matched to the clients’ requirements. His representation in industry and MMS meetings has proven beneficial to both parties. Due to these considerations, I feel G. Hank Danos is justly deserving of the prestigious Corporate Leadership Award.
