| Lee Warren is a former staff member of the
Minerals Management Service Office of Communications, worked as a Publications Assistant,
and later as a Public Affairs Specialist. Ms. Warren left Federal service to enter
graduate school at the University of Tennessee (UT). Upon graduation from the UT, Ms. Warren returned to her home of Houston, Texas, and began working as a Public Affairs Specialist for the Conoco Office of Corporate Strategy & Communications. Ms. Warren has been very helpful to Offshore Minerals Management (OMM) employees with several outreach projects. She has provided OMM employees copies of photographs of offshore oil and gas platforms for use in official publications, provided timely information about oil and gas operations, and has shared outreach material that Conoco has developed. Ms. Warren also provided the MMS with information and material to be used for a public display in the U.S. Department of the Interior featuring offshore items including a 250 pound drilling bit from an offshore drilling platform. Ms. Warren's willingness to help her former colleagues has been very beneficial to the overall goals and mission of the Bureau. We should recognize Ms. Warren for her efforts. |
