Devon Energy Corporation
Large Fluids Royalty Reporter

During Fiscal Year (FY) 1999, Devon Energy Corporation (Devon) submitted 44,939 lines of royalty data to the Royalty Management Program (RMP). They provided outstanding performance in the following areas:
 
bullet Accurate royalty reporting rate of 99.713 percent, with only 129 lines rejecting.
 
bullet Only 17 Accounting and Financial System/Production Auditing and Reporting System (AFS/PAAS)-required reporting and payment adjustments.
 
bullet Electronically paying 99.382 percent of all funds submitted to RMP.

Devon is also a partner in our financial reengineering efforts, providing insight and input into reporting and financial system changes.

Devon is located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and was also the FY 1998 winner in this large royalty reporter category. Devon reports electronically via e-mail.

Chieftain International, U.S.
Mid-Size Fluids Royalty Reporter

During FY 1999, Chieftain International, U.S. (Chieftain) submitted 3,300 lines of royalty data to RMP. They provided outstanding performance in the following areas:

Accurate royalty reporting rate of 99.181 percent, with only 27 rejected lines.

bullet

Only 1 AFS/PAAS-required reporting and payment adjustments.

bullet

Electronically paying 99.519 percent of all funds submitted to RMP.

Electronically reporting 99.697 percent of all royalty reports submitted to RMP.

bullet

Only 1 lease financial term exception.

bullet

Only $100 assessed for late payments.

Chieftain is located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and was also the FY 1997 winner in this mid-size royalty reporter category. Chieftain reports electronically via diskette.

CBP San Juan Limited Partnership
Small Fluids Royalty Reporter

During FY 1999, CBP San Juan Limited Partnership (CBP) submitted 362 lines of royalty data to RMP. They provided outstanding performance in the following areas:

Accurate royalty reporting rate of 100 percent, with zero rejected lines.

Zero AFS/PAAS-required reporting and payment adjustments.

bullet

Electronically paying 100 percent of all funds submitted to RMP.

Electronically reporting 100 percent of all royalty reports submitted to RMP.

Zero lease financial term exceptions.

CBP is located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This is the first time MMS has presented an award to a small-size royalty reporter, so this is CBP’s first time to win this award. CBP reports electronically via e-mail.

Production Fluids Reporters

Yates Petroleum Corporation and Yates Drilling Company
Major Production Reporter

During FY 1999, Yates Petroleum Corporation and Yates Drilling Company (Yates) submitted 62,252 lines of production data to RMP. They provided outstanding performance in the following areas:

Accurate production reporting rate of 99.746 percent, with only 158 rejected lines.

bullet

Zero AFS/PAAS exceptions.

bullet

Electronically reporting 99.442 percent of all production reports submitted to RMP.

bullet

Zero missing production reports.

Yates is located in Artesia, New Mexico, and won this same award for FY 1998 and 1996 reporting. Yates reports electronically via tape.

Kukui Operating Company
Mid-size Fluids Production Reporter

During FY 1999, Kukui Operating Company (Kukui) submitted 2,777 lines of production data to RMP. They provided outstanding performance in the following areas:

Accurate production reporting rate of 99.964 percent, with only 1 rejected line.

Zero AFS/PAAS exceptions.

bullet

Electronically reporting 100 percent of all production reports submitted to RMP.

bullet

Zero missing production reports.

Kukui’s President is located in Honolulu, Hawaii, and its operations are out of Houston, Texas. This is Kukui’s first year to win this award. Kukui reports electronically via diskette.

Northern Production Company
Small Fluids Production Reporter

During FY 1999, Northern Production Company (Northern) submitted 1,184 lines of production data to RMP. They provided outstanding performance in the following areas:

Accurate production reporting rate of 100 percent, with zero rejected lines.

Zero AFS/PAAS exceptions.

Electronically reporting 100 percent of all production reports submitted to RMP.

Zero missing production reports.

Northern is located in Gillette, Wyoming. This is the first time MMS has presented an award to a small-size production reporter, so this is Northern’s first time to win this award. Northern reports electronically via e-mail.

Solid Minerals Reporters

Pacificorp Electric Operations
Solid Minerals Reporter

bullet During FY 1999, Pacificorp Electric Operations (Pacificorp) submitted 1,459 lines of data to RMP. They provided outstanding performance in the following areas:
 
bullet Accurate royalty reporting rate of 98.766 percent, with only 18 rejected lines.
 
bullet Zero lease financial term exceptions.

Pacificorp is also a partner in our solid minerals compliance and asset management reengineering, providing insight and input as we refine our future business processes and determine future reporting requirements.

Pacificorp is located in Salt Lake City, Utah. This is the first time MMS has presented a solid minerals reporting award, so this is Pacificorp’s first time to win this award.

OCI Wyoming, L.P.
Solid Minerals Reporter

During FY 1999, OCI Wyoming, L.P. (OCI) submitted 507 lines of data to RMP. They provided outstanding performance in the following areas:

Accurate royalty reporting rate of 94.477 percent, with only 28 rejected lines.

bullet

Zero lease financial term exceptions.

OCI is located in Green River, Wyoming. This is the first time MMS has presented a solid minerals reporting award, so this is OCI’s first time to win this award.
