The Minerals Management Service recently released this study by Hoefler Consulting Group. The project deployed, maintained, and collected data from five meteorological stations along the Beaufort Sea, Alaska, which began in January 2001. The meteorological data and graphical output was incorporated on a public website at http://www.resdat.com/mms. The report describes the project and synthesizes the results from the collection of meteorological data.
