Arctic Technology Workshop

The U.S. Minerals Management Service (MMS) hosted an Arctic Technologies Workshop in Anchorage, Alaska, on October 13-15, 2009 at the Loussac Public Library.  The objective of the workshop was to share the regulatory processes and advanced technologies that are designed to reduce environmental risk associated with offshore oil and gas activities in the Arctic Outer Continental Shelf (OCS).  Spill prevention was the primary focus of this event.
