   2005 International Regulators Safety Forum        

Interior Secretary Gale A. Norton will be a keynote speaker at the 2005 International Regulators Safety Forum to be held March 30-April 1in London, England. 

MMS is one of the organizing agencies for this 3-day forum for regulators from various countries with an interest in offshore oil and gas development.  The conference program will facilitate the exchange information on best practices and experiences in regulating the offshore oil and gas industry, and comparison of international differences in regulatory approach and safety performance.  By the conclusion of the forum, common safety issues will be identified and a global support network of safety regulators will be formed.
